Terms of sale

By shopping at norbord.no, you accept these terms of sale. The terms are based on current Norwegian legislation: Consumer Purchase Act, Right of Withdrawal Act, E-commerce Act, and GDPR.

Products:
We sell furniture and interior items made of wood and epoxy resin. Many of the products are handmade and exist as unique pieces.
Customized orders are handled manually and are subject to separate terms.

Prices and Payment:
All prices are stated in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include VAT (MVA).
⚠️ The company is currently not registered for VAT. Registration is planned from August 2025.

We offer the following payment methods:
  • Bank card (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) – via Stripe
  • Klarna – via Stripe
  • Vipps – directly via Vipps
  • Invoice – by prior agreement, mainly for businesses. Payment due within 14 days. The invoice will be sent to the provided email address after the order is confirmed.
Delivery:
We deliver only within Norway.
We use Bring, Posten, and PostNord as our shipping partners.
Delivery time: 2–14 days, typically 5–7 business days.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on size and delivery address.

You will receive an order confirmation by email after completing your purchase. The purchase agreement is considered binding once the order is confirmed.

Right of Withdrawal:
According to §21–§25 of the Right of Withdrawal Act, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods.

Return conditions:
  • The customer covers return shipping costs.
  • The product must be unused and returned in its original packaging.
  • Notice of return must be sent to [email protected]
Note: In accordance with §22 of the Right of Withdrawal Act, the right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made (tailored) products.

Complaints and Warranty:
All products come with a 6-month warranty from the date of receipt.

  • Provide your order number and describe the issue
  • Please attach a photo or video if possible
We respond to complaints within 3 business days and provide feedback as soon as possible.

According to Norwegian law, you always have at least a 2-year right to file complaints for any product.

Further rights in accordance with §27 of the Consumer Purchase Act:
  • If there is a defect in the item, the consumer must notify the seller within a reasonable time after the defect was discovered or should have been discovered (complaint).
  • This complaint period can never be shorter than two months from the time the defect was discovered.
  • The complaint must be made no later than two years after the item was delivered.
  • If the product or parts of it are meant to last significantly longer under normal use, the complaint deadline is five years.

Privacy:
We process your personal data in accordance with GDPR.
Your data is only used to process orders and is shared solely with necessary payment and shipping partners.

Age Restriction:
There is no age restriction for shopping in the online store. Purchases can be made by individuals with legal capacity.

Dispute Resolution:
In case of disagreement, we will first attempt to resolve the matter amicably.
